Tour meets at the Beverley Hotel (104 South New Street)
Brought back from structural and architectural compromise, the Hotel Beverley is now open. This rehabilitation is a dramatic save of the historic hotel built between 1904 and 1909. Now apartments and restaurant space, the project is a fitting adaptive reuse of a hotel plan. Illustrating our theme concerning the challenges of controlling water, we will view and discuss the large stone block foundation and new structural piers located immediately next to Lewis Creek.
HSF Preservation Brown Bag events are free and open to the public.
